Examinations
Pupils will have the opportunity to work towards N.A.T.D. (National Association of Teachers of Dancing) and C.D.E.T. (Council for Dance, Drama & Musical Theatre) accredited examinations and awards. We run regular examination sessions and when a teacher deems a pupil ready they will be invited to be entered for an exam.
Pupils achieving the higher grades can also gain UCAS tariffs points. Dance examinations that are level 3 qualify for pointes that may be accepted by universities and colleges. Grades 6/7/8 and Intermediate are the accepted qualifications. Our NATD exams in Ballet, Modern Stage, National Tap and Contemporary Dance may be referred to in a UCAS application.
